SANTAN SUN NEWS STAFF
The fall production of Sun Lakes Community Theatre is the classic drama, “Twelve Angry Jurors,” which will be staged in the San Tan Ballroom Nov. 7-11.
All shows Nov. 7-10 will be at 7 p.m., and on Nov. 11 there will be a matinee at 1 p.m.
The play is based on the Emmy-winning TV movie by Reginald Rose and adapted by Sherman Sergel, in which a young man is accused of murder so the 12 jurors enter the jury room to consider the evidence and decide his fate.
It will be performed in an intimate three-quarter round format, which means that the audience surrounds the actors on three sides and each audience member sits close to the action.
Tickets are $16 each and purchasers can pick their seats.
Sales are 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Oct. 24 and Oct. 31 in Room A3 Card Room in the Cottonwood complex. And 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Oct. 25 and Nov. 1 in the Oakwood Lobby.
Tickets can also be purchased at slctinfo.com.
If there are any remaining tickets before each performance, they will be sold at the door.
